早晨，我早早起床，因为今天是我第一次学英语的日子，我高兴地一蹦三尺高，像一只快乐的小鸟，吃完早饭，妈妈送我到“环球国际英语”去学英语。
一到这个学校，我就跑到自己的g班，发现全班同学都是二（2）班的老同学，一共5个人，我惊讶地把嘴巴张的老大，都可以吞下一个苹果了，哈哈哈哈。
上课了，老师介绍了她了自己，她的英文名字叫“sherry”，这个名字还有来源呢因为老师喜欢吃雪梨，所以叫“sherry”，老师一一为我们取了英文名，我的英文名叫“ann”。老师教了我们3个字母a、b、c，还教了字母歌，abcdefg——，我们还学习了苹果（apple），猫（cat），书本（book）。
我本来以为学英语很难，但没想到学英语可以带来这么多知识和乐趣，我喜欢学英语。

there were many activities in the sports meeting, like long jump, high jump, relay race, shot-pot and so on. i took great interest in the 1,500-metre race. i thought no matter what the result would be, the spirit must be spoken highly of by everyone.
my good friend ann also took part in the sports meeting. but she did badly in it. i began to worry about her. however, she said, “that doesn’t matter. although i didn’t win, i’m also the best, aren’t i?” i was surprised at her words, but that was really true.
at the closing ceremony, the headmaster said, “well done! my children. in this sports meeting, all of you are the winners!”
with these words, the sports meeting ended, but the beautiful memory will last long.

我和英语是非常熟悉的，我和英语之间还发生了一段故事呢!
几年以前，我对英语那叫什么都不会，就连yes和no都学了几学期才学会，就在一个暑假，老爸把我送进补习班去学英语。那时的'我百分之一百比愿不愿意去学习，认为大人们剥夺了我的自由。
刚开始，我不愿意学。老师见我这样，就想出一个办法来。刚刚学习完第一课，老师马上考试，因为我上课不听讲，所以我连最简单的二十六个字母都默写不来。最终得了个“大鸭蛋”，老师给其他同学都发了奖品，就我没有，还被骂了一顿。
后来我为了得到奖品，我开始学习起英语来。后来的那股子认真劲我都不知道那里来的，可能是为了得到奖品吧!
从逼着上学到积极上学;从一回家就玩到一回家就听磁带，为了背诵一篇课文，往往要花好几个小时的时间去听读，背诵。
……
现在，我依然认真学习英语，从开始的七十多分到了八十多分。终于，在上学期获得满分。不过，不要骄傲，要一直获得满分!

as far as i am concerned, we ought to learn to read etensively as well as intensively. it is not often possible, to read in merely one way. instead of trying to read every line and word in newspapers and magazine, wed better summarize the main idea. and when it comes to literature, art, science articles and others like these; it is wise to read them intensively.
