“起死回生”这个词是不是让你大吃一惊，呵呵！这事儿还真的出现在我的生活中呢！
自从3年前我养的小兔黑妞拉肚子死翘翘后，妈妈就不再同意让我在家养宠物了。为了这事我起义了好几次，但最终还是败下阵来。外婆看我可怜兮兮，就在她家为我养了四条小金鱼，因此我特别喜欢它们，分别为它们起了名字：那条金黄色的大肚子鱼叫“土豪”；全身乌黑的又灵活小瘦子叫“绅士”；大眼睛红袍子鱼叫“红灯笼”；穿着白裙子头顶一点红那条，我就喊它“小护士”。它们成天在鱼缸里悠闲地游来游去，不时追逐打闹，嬉笑着穿梭在我为它们设置的小拱门里不亦乐乎。时间久了，我发现它们变得特别聪明，一听到人说话的声音，就知道到饭点了，会浮上水面抬起头，好像等着我喂食呢！
每次一到外婆家，我总是第一时间冲到鱼缸前，与它们聊聊天，为它们打扫打扫房间。那天，我看鱼缸又长满青苔，水也变得浑浊，就打算清洗鱼缸。小鱼们依次被捞出鱼缸，请它们到临时房暂住一阵子。该轮到“绅士”了，我用小网子轻轻捞起它，只见它挣扎了几下，“跐溜”一声滑入水中，又以百米冲刺的速度游了几圈，突然间翻了鱼肚白，浮在水面一动不动了。顿时我傻了，大叫一声，这是怎么回事？病了？晕了？还是抽筋了？家人都被叫声引了过来，纷纷询问发生了什么。妈妈拨了拨被我捞起来小鱼，只见它毫无生气，肚子也像凝固了一样，很肯定地说：“死了！找个地方埋了吧。”“不行，不行！”我的泪水在眼眶里打转，急着语无伦次：“不会死，就是不会死！”
妈妈见拗不过我，摸了摸我的头走开了，大家也觉得没什么希望安慰了几句都各忙各的了。可是我不甘心，希望奇迹出现，它能活过来。这就样，我蹲在水泥地上，眼睛死死地盯着“绅士”好久好久，突然“绅士”的尾巴动了动。我揉了揉眼，是我眼花了吗？不过这小小的变化让我激动不已，让我坚定下了它能活过来的信念。接着它眼睛双动了，肚子也一鼓一鼓的了，耶！小鱼活过来了，家人们又随着我的欢呼聚拢来，惊叹这奇怪的一幕。外婆说：“若不是我们小冬冬坚持，这条鱼就可能就葬身抽水马桶了。”被外婆一说，还真有点后怕，不禁捂了捂心口。现在，我的小“绅士”又和它的小伙伴们欢聚一堂，愉快地玩耍去了。
可是，我很好奇“绅士”为什么会突然“晕倒”呢？于是我上网查了资料，分析后有两种可能，一种是大海里有些大鱼只吃活鱼，小鱼就“诈死”，以骗过凶狠的大鱼。莫非它以为我就是那条大鱼？还有一种可能是新换的水温过低，“绅士”一下子“昏厥”过去了，过了一会儿适应后又醒过来了。
我体验了一次奇妙的经历，更庆幸保住了“绅士”一条小命。
